Sound familiar?

You’ve probably been told to...

If you’ve tried to improve your LinkedIn, you’ve probably been told some version of these.

Optimise your profile
Grow your network
Post consistently
Write better hooks
Comment on other posts
Watch your likes and impressions

None of that is bad advice.

The problem is, it’s usually taught as six separate tactics.

They’re not separate. They’re all feeding the same system.

Here’s what connects them

LinkedIn isn’t just a posting platform.
It’s a relevance engine.

Every time you use LinkedIn, its systems are trying to understand three things.

01
Who are you?
02
What are you talking about?
03
Who is likely to care?
That connects the whole LinkedIn journey:
Profile
Network
Content
Distribution
Conversation
Commercial Outcome
Consistency reinforces the whole system
The job isn’t to “beat the algorithm”.
It’s to remove the ambiguity.
What we’ll unpack live

The parts of LinkedIn that actually work together

We’ll break the system down properly, so you can see what each part is doing and how it affects the rest.

01
Profile
How LinkedIn and the reader work out who you are, what you know and whether you’re relevant.
02
Network
Why who you connect with matters more than simply growing your connection count.
03
Content
How to structure commercially specific posts, including hooks, “see more”, specificity and the commercial argument.
04
Comments & distribution
How useful comments create visibility and how content can reach 2nd, 3rd and out-of-network people.
05
Measurement
How to move beyond likes and impressions and look at relevant reach, profile activity, conversations and commercial movement.

You won’t leave with another list of LinkedIn tips.

You’ll understand how the parts connect and what to pay attention to when you use LinkedIn commercially.

Where this started

This started with Matt.

Matt’s LinkedIn results made me look at this properly. With his permission, I started studying how he structured his content, how far it travelled and what it created commercially.

The starting point

What Matt was already doing

Matt had already built a highly effective way of using LinkedIn commercially. His posts gave me the patterns to investigate: specificity, recognisable situations, clear commercial arguments and consistency.

What happened next

I started testing the principles

I applied those principles myself, then went deeper into profile relevance, network composition, comments, distribution and LinkedIn’s own published guidance.

What Matt’s activity creates commercially
15–20
calls per month Matt says are generated directly from his LinkedIn content
60%
of his business Matt attributes to his LinkedIn activity
Matt’s commercial figures are his own reported results and are included with his permission.

Matt gave me the starting point.
I built the Relevance Engine by testing, researching and connecting what was happening.

This workshop brings the two together: what works in practice, and why.
